Reading, now there is a novel idea

Ever since I was little I wanted to read more books, but since I was so active outdoors the only time I really had to do it was late late at night and I would just fall asleep. I think from middle school through college I might have read 10 books and those were all assigned to me. Not something that I am proud of.

Well since I became unemployed March 31st of this year I have read 7 books. It is amazing how quickly you can get sucked in and how time flies as well.

Well got a book waiting for me...

Lonely Days, but busy as all get out

I have a tendency to babble and switch storylines as I go along. So if you are looking for a chronological story teller, sorry I'm not your man.

So here is how my day usually goes.

8am wake up - usually because I stayed awake until 2am watching some lame show on TV

8:30 am get my butt outta bed, grab the laptop, water, peanut butter toast and the cell phone

8:45 am back in bed now with all of the above performing my daily search for jobs in the Chicago area

11am Yeah still searching....

Noon Decide that I have look my ars off and deserve to go for a stroll about the neighborhood or over to the lake

1pm Peanut butter toast held my hunger off for this long, but it is time to get some more filler in there

4pm After replying and applying to positions found in the am it is now time to get in touch with the outside world via some CNN or other exciting news channel

6pm The wife gets home from work and begins cooking a delicious meal. She loves to cook, otherwise there might be something else for me to do from 4-6pm

7pm Dinner is finished and I clean up the kitchen and dining room table as my wife settles in to watch some trash TV such as Laguana Beach or Real World. I usually pick up a book and we have intermittent discussions until she wants to crawl into bed.

10pm Now in bed surfing the channels looking for something other then the news stories that I have already seen twice today.

2am I loose conscienceness and finally the day is over.

Now dont get me wrong, I am enjoying the time that I am not looking for a job, but it would just be nice to get settled into a routine and figure out what my life is going to be like on a day-to-day basis here in Chi Town.

That is all for now...
